What is a Mechanical Vacuum Booster System?
A mechanical vacuum booster system is a dry (oil-free) rotary device that operates on the principle of meshing rotors (commonly twin lobes) to compress gas from a lower pressure side to a higher pressure side.
It is placed between the vacuum chamber (or process) and the backing or primary vacuum pump.
The booster lifts the throughput capability of the primary pump by reducing the load on it, thereby achieving deeper vacuum or faster pump‑down times.
