IVC Pumps Pvt. Ltd. Is A Manufacturer And Exporter Of oil lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump

An oil lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump is a sophisticated piece of equipment designed to create vacuum or negative pressure by utilizing rotating vanes within a cylindrical housing. These pumps are widely used in various industrial applications, including vacuum packaging, material handling, pharmaceuticals, and chemical processing, among others.

At its core, the pump consists of a rotor with multiple vanes that are mounted eccentrically within a cylindrical chamber. As the rotor spins, centrifugal force pushes the vanes outward, creating a seal against the inner surface of the housing. This action traps a volume of gas between the vanes, which decreases in volume as the rotor continues to rotate. This reduction in volume results in the compression and expulsion of the gas through an exhaust port.

working principle

The Vacuum Pump of the IVOL Series are Single Stage, Oil Lubricated Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump with Oil Re-Circulation System. The Lubricant is rated for continuous operation at high intake pressure so that pump may be used in a versatile manner in most rough Vacuum Application. They are used for Suction of air also in presence of water vapour and for continuous industrial use.

material of construction

  • Housing: The pump housing, typically made of cast iron or aluminum alloy, forms the main body of the pump. It contains the internal components and provides structural support.
  • Rotor: The rotor is a central component of the pump and is mounted on a shaft connected to a motor. It typically consists of multiple vanes (usually made of carbon or composite materials) that are evenly spaced around the circumference of the rotor.
  • Vane Sliding Mechanism: Each vane is mounted on a slotted rotor, allowing it to slide in and out as the rotor rotates. This sliding mechanism creates the pumping action by trapping and compressing gas between the vanes and the housing.
